On 1 February 2022, Prof. Dr Folker Roland began what is now his second term as President. He has led Harz University of Applied Sciences since 2017.
In addition to the President and the Chancellor, the university management is made up of three university professors in office, each of whom represents a key area of competence as Vice President. Prof. Dr. Louisa Klemmer has been responsible for academic and international affairs since 1 March 2017. Prof. Dr. Hardy Pundt is responsible for transfer and digitalisation since 2022. Also since 2022, Prof. Dr. Frieder Stolzenburg represents the areas of research and equal opportunities.
