Your B4B

In case of communication worries on the PC, virus problems or other "security holes", the computer help service CH!P supports the students. At the beginning of the semester, introductory computer courses are regularly offered, which enable a quick orientation in the server system of the Harz University of Applied Sciences.

The CSG is a colourful group of students from all denominations and deals with the topics of faith and religion. We meet regularly in the rooms of the Protestant Christusgemeinde or the Catholic St. Mariengemeinde and exchange thoughts about our faith with pastors, speakers and other students or simply have a good time together.

We are open to all interested students - no matter whether they are believers or not. It is important to us that everyone lives their own individual faith and we are looking forward to hearing your stories!

So just come and tell us about God and your world!

Because true to the motto "The sky's the limit!" we are always open for crazy ideas and want to live out our creativity together...

eSport & Gaming Hochschule Harz offers students with interest in video games the possibility to find like-minded people to pursue their hobby together. Competitive-interested players can join a team for their favourite game and compete for their Hochschule Harz e.g. in the University eSport-League Germany (UEG), together with other fellow students, against other German universities.

In addition, those who just want to play relaxed can also network with like-minded people and meet new people. Since we do not want to create purely virtual acquaintances, we also organize smaller events such as a board game evening at our university.

You can reach us via our Facebook page, by email or Instagram.

We are "GRAS" - the green-alternative student association in Wernigerode. In the center of our work is the political discourse and the political education work at the university. We see ourselves as an anti-fascist, ecological, emancipatory, social, pacifist and democratic association of students. We share these values with other groups throughout Germany. We want to represent the interests of the students of the university, as well as stimulate to the political opinion. With various workshops, film evenings and discussion rounds we complement the initiative landscape and make it a bit "greener".

Friends of Music

The name says it all - we like music. But that doesn't mean that you have to be musically talented to become a part of the MF family! Although you can also show your skills at our Karaoke nights.

In the winter semester, we're organizing a big party at the Elmo Club, and there are no limits to your creativity in choosing a motto, as long as it can be realized in a deco-technical way. In the summer semester, the campus party is on the agenda with the special feature that we have our own stage where "our" DJs can really heat up the place!

During the semester we are actually present at every party, because we take care of the music in the basement. If you like to play yourself or if you want to try it out, we offer you the opportunity to do so!

The RCDS (Ring of Christian Democratic Students) is the oldest political initiative at Harz University of Applied Sciences. With us you have the opportunity to actively participate in university life, make new acquaintances and participate in a variety of activities.

But even if you are less interested in politics, you are in good hands with us. First and foremost, the RCDS from Harz UAS is about having fun together and experiencing something together. During our excursions and activities, which take place every semester, we visit destinations such as Heide-Park, the Kiez in Hamburg or start for a refreshing canoe tour on the Oker. Where we go, we decide together on our group evenings.

For our meetings we have our own room in the Malzmühle, where we meet regularly for snacks and drinks. In addition to our tours, we also plan other activities there, such as hikes or our discussion rounds on current topics. Even a wine tasting has already been organized by our members.

Social commitment alongside your studies is not a matter of course and therefore something very special. The aim of the non-profit association ROCK YOUR LIFE! is to support students from economically and socially disadvantaged backgrounds. For this purpose, students are qualified as mentors who individually and continuously accompany a student for one year on his or her way to work or to a secondary school.

As a student you can be trained in various areas of mentoring and personal development. The mentoring is supplemented by a nationwide network of companies. In addition, we often meet for game nights or go hiking together, so there's no shortage of fun! You can also visit Instagram at "rockyourlife_wernigerode" or click on our website. We are looking forward to you!

Under the motto "Move something to move you" we, as sports friends, shape campus life at the university in a sporty way.

As one of the university's strongest member initiatives and in close cooperation with the university sports department, we have been able to realize events such as the beach volleyball tournament, the Zumba Charity Party and the surf trip in recent years. Every winter semester, we plan the athletes' party together, in the summer semesters the neon party. Together with our members, we go on excursions, such as hiking or canoeing tours, in order to actively organize our free time.

We are happy about everyone who is interested in bringing in their own ideas and actively shaping student life in a more sporty way together with us!
