Detailed Steps to Harz University of Applied Sciences

Get started: Nomination

Students of one of our partner universities are nominated by the International Office of their home university. If you are not enroled at one of our partner universities (freemover) please contact us for your study options. 

Easy: Online application

After the nomination deadline you receive an email from us. We will ask you to apply online. The link for the online application will be open exclusively during the application period.

The following documents need to be submitted with the online application:

• Official Transcript of Records
• Passport Copy (valid for the duration of stay)
• Passport Photo (as on passport, high quality)
• Evaluation of Language Skills (German or English, both at least level B2). A model of the certifcate of language proficiency can be found here (English) or here (German).
• Proof of Health Insurance (Can be send after the application period as well.)

Please upload all the necessary documents. You do not need to send your documents via regular mail anymore.

Done: "Letter of Acceptance"

After we have reviewed your application, you will receive a "Letter of Acceptance". Your final enrolment will be done during your first days at Harz University of Applied Sciences, where you get further information and support. Before your arrival, we will send you several emails with detailed information about your studies in Germany.
